Madeit re-stocked!

Yay! I have finally found some time to re-stock madeit.  If you are looking for something a little unique why not head on over to Two Turtle Doves and  pick up something for yourself or that someone special.  You could even start your Christmas shopping {it will be here before we know it eek!}.

Market Review

So this post is a little late {few technical issues} but we are back on track now.

The 'Mummy Made it' market was a great experience.  I was able to meet lots of lovely, talented mummy's who obviously work very hard.

There were a few downsides to the day, including being set up in the back room, with not nearly as many people knowing we were in there, which didn't help with sales at all.  Though I was lucky enough to be in the same room as my super-talented sister in-law, and my super talented cousin who made the long trek up from Hobart for the occasion, so it was nice to have the support from them.

One good thing did come out of it all, and that is that now I have some more stock to put on madeit!

Mummy Made it Market

One more sleep until the big debut!  I am having a little freak out, after seeing some of the other stalls products that I do not have enough stock.  So please forgive me if I don't, as I am really new to the whole market scene and don't know what to expect.  Please come along, even just to say 'hi' we would love to see you.

{Still here}

Hi folks.  So sorry about the slackness on the blogging front, but I can explain.  You see I have been working hard on some new items; they are not just any old items though, they are for a market.  Yes that's right I am participating in my very first market.  It was only with some encouragment from my super talented sister-in-law that I decided to give it a crack, I mean what's the worst that could happen? Here is a sneak peak at some of the items.

So more info on the market.  It is the 'Mummy Made It' market run by the Devonport Church of Christ MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers).

I am super dooper excited, and oh so very nerveous at the same time, I have been dreaming about it for a while now, the first dream was actually a nightmare, where I had left heaps of stock and things for my display at home.  Last night however I dreamt that it went really well, so let's hope it is more like the latter.

{3 years}

Yesterday was three years since my husband and I were married.  It has been a wonderful three years, we have sure had our trials, but together we have gotten through them all, and come out the other side, hopefully better people.

We had a lovely homemade dinner together followed by some cake, and then had a lovely long cuddle on the couch.

Happy three years honey, I love you! xxx

Come fly with me

I am loving birds at the moment.  There is something so peaceful about the way they glide through the air with wings outstretched.  How they sing with such sweetness. Or how they place themselves onto the powerline outside my front door with such ease.

So it got me thinking, seeing as my logo is two doves - I thought I would attempt to make myself some birds, I knew I wouldn't be able to make doves like in my logo, so I made a simpler version.

Not quite how I invisioned them to be {but after burning my first batch - should pay more attention to the instructions}  I am loving them more everytime I look at them.

They may even make an appearance somewhere, sometime soon....

Lovin' right now

I am lovin' anything white at the moment, whether it is white furniture, walls, flooring, decor, etc.

I would love to have this white laundry, I think I would probably love to have mine this clean more!

I have noticed these everywhere lately, and have been eyeing some off in a local shop of some birds, but I love the uniqueness that these add to any home.
